Started back in 2019 BC (before covid) Momgoblin came together with the idea of writing music that we wanted to hear. Nowadays all the radio has to offer in the way of new music is rap, pop or country. No offense to those other genres, but enough is enough! San Antonio used to be known for being the rock capital of the country and now it is a shameful representation of what it once was. We aim to change all that. Momgoblin has combined all the elements of what rock has evolved to be. We cannot be nailed down by a particular genre because we are influenced by all of them.

Our lead lady the Momgoblin herself: Viviana Hernandez, rocking both bass and vocals, is not the typical “chick bass player”. The riffs she can crank out will make most guy bass players run home crying to their mommas. Make sure to meet her after the shows she is one of the nicest people you could meet and network with.

Lead guitarist and fretboard guru: Gabriel Contreras, This is a guy you need to keep your eye, on he will take your lame ass riff and turn it into a work of art. Most of the catchy riffs and rhythms come from inside this guys noggin. Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you this guy is a beast when you put a guitar in his hands.

The guy beating on the drums, AKA the tech guy, Jimmy Hernandez: When he isn’t explaining to the band that he doesn’t have six arms how the hell do you expect him to play that, he is keeping the gear in top shape with repairs and mods. He is also the one who does all the recordings and digital media. He is a drummer that knows how to keep the band in time, with drum rhythms that are both classic, but unique as well.

If you’re  looking for a band that finally doesn’t sound like every other band out there and you want some variety in your listening experience drop us a line. We are professionals and we love what we do.
